3CX Session Border Controller Installation Procedure

Prerequisites

• Port 5060 (TCP and UDP) on this server must be available.
• 3CX PBX V16 to be used.
• Access to blacksparrow.3cx.uk.

Installation Guide

Part 01. Downloading the ISO

1. Open a web browser and go to https://portal.3cx.com/customer/systems.
2. Identify the relevant system and click the pencil icon on the right.
3. Click the "INSTALL" button in the top right.
4. Select "Self hosted (On Premise / Private Cloud)" and click "NEXT".
5. Select "On-Premise on Windows or Linux" and click "NEXT".
6. Select "Linux" and make a note of the authorisation code (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX).
7. Click "DOWNLOAD".

Part 02. Operating System Installation

1. Boot from the ISO downloaded in part 1.
2. Click Advanced options.
3. Click install.
4. Enter in a hostname, this will be provided to you by your system administrator.
5. Enter in your domain name, this will be provided to you by your system administrator.
6. Select the language (English).
7. Select the location (United Kingdom).
8. Set the keyboard layout (ukkkkk).
9. Enter a root password, this will be provided to you by your system administrator.
10. Configure the partitioning.
11. Wait for the server to reboot.
12. Select 3CX SBC.
13. Select <Ok> on the "3CX Pre-requisites" screen.
14. If you agree with the EULA, select <Accept>.
15. Enter the following on the "3CX Provisioning URL" screen: https://blacksparrow.3cx.uk
16. Enter in the authentiation key.
17. Wait for system reboot.
